Our food security is under question. Increased demand and decreased soil productivity, as well as heavy use of chemicals, make food less nutritious. Rising sea level, waste treatment, medical residues, and pollution which comes back to earth with the rain endanger access to quality drinking water. Exhausts and use of chemicals, as well as other air pollutants, are a burden to our lungs.
To adapt to climate change, we need sharpness of the mind to see how everything is interconnected and how to ensure the continued supply of three basic inputs.
