warming oceans and ocean acidity in natural carbon sinks

Oceans are the biggest carbon sinks of the planet, but in top of CO2 they also absorb the heat from the warming atmosphere[1]. Similarly to the soil, warmer oceans have a smaller absorbing capacity of CO2. Another limit that oceans have with regards to CO2 absorption is acidity levels, which increase with more carbon diluted in water. This poses a threat to marine life and almost certainly will rid us of all the corals.
