Lifestyle factors causing depression

The most common lifestyle factors that lead to depression are as follows[1]:

  • Alcohol and substance abuse
  • Overworking
  • Poor diet
  • Lack of physical activity
  • Poor sleep
  • Lack of leisure time
  • Social isolation

Do you think that you may need to work on one of these areas to safeguard against mental illness? In the next chapter, we share which programs on Z Game Changers platform could help you with which of the areas. In the meantime, evaluate on the scale from 1 to 5 what is the intensity of the problems in each of the areas (next topic in this lesson).
