When you allow yourself to engage in negative thoughts, stress increases its influence on you. When an individual is becoming depressed, they stop being physically and socially active – which is exactly the opposite of what they should be doing to feel better.

If you suffer from the illness – find a community that can support you locally, share with the friends you trust and family what you are going through.
