This also applies to the goals you set for yourself to achieve. The goals you have are rarely truly ours – they are often imposed by advertisement and society, dictating you the way. You are expected to want specific things and a particular lifestyle, but when you are getting it, you figure out that it doesn’t close the loop. You still miss something for happiness.
Instead of chasing goals which are set definition of success in the society, you should stop and turn your attention inward. You should understand what drives you and what makes YOU happy, truly, and purposely.
Meditation helps to achieve this clarity of mind, seeing yourself from within, and seeing how you are a part of the world you live in.
