Examples of Good Stress

More examples of Eustress, the good stress which is not perceived as stressful at all, and works beneficially: 

  • Passing a difficult exam
  • Giving a birth
  • Getting married
  • Starting a new job
  • Getting a promotion 

As you see, the same trigger – a stressor – may cause two different reactions depending on how you view it. When you eventually rewire your mind and start seeing stressors differently, they won’t bother you as much or even at all. Of course, some stress can’t be perceived as positive, no matter how hard you try – a loss of a loved one could be one of these events. Nevertheless, you can still get less affected with it, when you understand that what happens is out of your control and your suffering doesn’t solve the situation, neither can reverse it.
