Dhyana – Meditation

Once a practitioner achieves a steady flow of Dharana or concertation, one can advance to the next stage – meditation, uninterrupted flow of consciousness. As you remember, we have introduced Meditation only in the previous (fourth) Mindfulness course, where you had the opportunity to practice breathing, body awareness, and sense awareness for the weeks before. This is the best preparation and allows you to start the practice smoothly, as opposed to jumping into meditation straight away, without much prior experience or training.

When you practice meditation, it is also important to be aware of the fact that you are meditating.
