Similarly to the cerebral cortex, the cerebellum is divided into two hemispheres, however with a different structure. It is much smaller than cerebrum and is located below it, at the back of your head.

The cerebellum is involved in movement control, helping you to coordinate your muscle movement and to keep balance. The little brain plays a crucial role in the coordination of eye movement, which scientists believe track objects and surrounding for better movement coordination. Cerebellum also participates in learning and remembering processes.
