Today, let’s try to a simple sensory grounding exercise. It is good for relieving anxiety and bringing you to the present moment. You can do this exercise discretely any time of the day, simply shift your awareness between your senses. 

Notice 5 things you see around you 

Notice 4 things you can feel (the air, breathe, your feet touching the floor)

Notice 3 things you can hear (the closest sound, the most distant sound, subtle sounds around)

Notice 2 things you can smell right now (and smell them)

Notice 1 thing that makes you feel positive right now
