Awaken your Senses

Every day we wake up, get ready for the day and throw ourselves into life without noticing how everything around interplays with us. On the way to work or school, we bury our noses into smartphones, just to get distracted. We can’t be with ourselves, and we can’t be with the world around – we continuously try to escape.

The busy mind’s chatter makes us mentally rehearse things we should remember, things we need to do, overanalyze arguments and exaggerate other people’s actions. Even though we are inside our brain all the time, we never hear what does it have to say to us. Even though we think about external events, we do not notice everything about them. We continuously engage our body, but only feel the sensations in it when they are intense or painful.
